Menus and Dinner Money

On the 1st November 2013, St Gregory's Catholic Primary School and Corpus Christi Catholic High School became partners to deliver high quality dinners to our children and staff. We regularly serve one hundred and fifty meals a day! Our dedicated team of cooks really enjoy talking to the children and often develop thier menus with the children's favourite foods. Dinner time should be about relaxing and talking to friends and we openly encourage our children to talk and share converations whilst eating! Father Ted joins us for dinner everyday and our children and teachers sit together whilst eating. Through their curriculum, children regularly prepare food in their allocated garden areas to be harvested for our menus. There is something especially rewarding about planting, harvesting and then eating your own produce!
Dinner money is collected on Monday mornings. The cost is £11.00 per week or £2.20 per
day. Sibling rate is £2. Please could you send in the exact money, where possible, in a sealed envelope with your child's name, class and contents clearly marked. Cheques can be made payable to
'Lancashire County Council'.
All KS1 children receive free school meals as does any KS2 child who is entitled to free school meals.
